Characteristic of the course

You will spend the afternoon preparing simple, yet tasty Thai dishes that will impress your family and friends. We will help you uncover the secrets of Thai cuisine, whether you are a beginner or a more experienced cook.

This course is for beginners as well those more experienced. Thanks to a limited number of participants, we cater to everybody’s individual needs.  

Our Thai cuisine courses are led by experienced chef, Ms. Keng.

The course will teach you techniques used in Thailand to help you achieve original and excellent flavors and superb combinations thereof.

We will prepare:

  • Kang Khew Wan Neur (beef green curry)
  • Popia Tod (Thai spring roll)
  • Yam Neur Yang (beef salad)
  • Tom Kah Kai (chicken soup with coconut milk) 
  • Phad Thai Kai (rice noodles with chicken meat)
  • Jasmine rice

What will you learn?

  • Working with veggies the Thai way
  • Adding exotic condiments (fish and oyster sauce, light and dark soya sauce, sweet chili sauce, sesame oil, curry pastes, etc.)
  • Choosing and serving the right wine with every exotic dish
  • And other tips and tricks from professionals

The course is hosted by Chef:

šéfkuchařka - kengKeng

  • Received her training as a cook in Thailand. She lives in the Czech Republic with her husband, who also cooks.
  • Chef at Zebra restaurant in Prague.
  • Food and cooking are her favorite hobbies. She loves meeting people and teaching them to cook.

Course information

How long: The course begins at 4 p.m.; it is expected to end between 8 and 9 p.m.

Where: In our stylish atelier fitted with modern French De-Dietrich appliances and copper cookware.

The maximum number of participants is 16. Work is done in pairs.

Price. 3 600 CZK for the course.


  • Welcome drink at the Ola Kala culinary atelier;
  • Beginning of the lesson, introduction to the recipes and work procedures;
  • Consumption of individual finished dishes while the next ones are still cooking;
  • Friendly visit
